Baccarat Bead Plate Explained
The Bead Plate is the simplest baccarat scorecard โ a grid of colored dots that records every result in order. It's the easiest way to see the full history of a shoe at a glance.
What is the Bead Plate?
The Bead Plate (also called the Bead Road or Bead Track) fills in results from top to bottom, left to right. Each cell contains a colored dot: red for Banker, blue for Player, green for Tie.
Unlike the Big Road, the Bead Plate doesn't care about streaks or columns โ it simply records every hand in sequence.
How to Read the Bead Plate
Read the Bead Plate top to bottom, then left to right โ like reading a book. The first result is top-left, then down the first column, then top of the second column, and so on.
You can instantly see the overall balance of Banker vs Player results across the whole shoe.
Bead Plate vs Big Road
The Big Road shows patterns and streaks by grouping same-side results in columns. The Bead Plate simply records everything in order with no grouping.
Both are useful โ the Bead Plate gives you a quick count of overall results, while the Big Road reveals streak patterns.
Using the Bead Plate
The Bead Plate is most useful for quickly scanning the overall Banker/Player balance. If you see the bead plate is heavily red (Banker), you may consider following Banker bias. If it's mixed, the shoe may be choppy.
